Configuration Management Analyst
KAYA Associates, Inc.
Huntsville, AL

KAYA Associates, Inc. has 2 full time positions to be located at Pearl Harbor, HI  for a Configuration Management Analyst.  This is in support of  KAYA’s subcontract for SBX (Sea Based X band radar) Mission Support.

Major Duties Include:

• Identification of data requirements

• Preparation, publication, distribution, control and availability of technical, management and administrative documents required to support the SBX program

• Establishes a data management plan that supports established internal procedures

• Maintains a CM Library that contains revisions and updated listings for SBX documentation, contract and specification reference documents

• Supports and participates in Configuration Review Boards  and Configuration Control Boards as required

 

Positions are for tours 56 days on board the SBX located in Pearl Harbor, HI and 56 days off.  While on board, you will be working 12 hour days 7 days a week. 

A Secret Security Clearance is required and the successful candidate must pass a U.S. Coast Guard Mariners Physical. 


 

Environmental Technician
Crane, IN
KAYA Associates, Inc.


KAYA Associates, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for an Environmental Technician to be located in Crane, IN.  The Environmental Technician conducts tests and field investigations to obtain data for use by environmental, engineering and scientific personnel in determining sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil, utilizing knowledge of agriculture, chemistry, meteorology and engineering principles and applied technologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
· Monitor, treat and discharge storm water collected in sedimentation ponds
· Test sedimentation pond storm water prior to discharge for proper pH and total suspended solids
· Perform daily calibration on instruments
· Collect samples at  various points around the base to comply with NPDES requirements
· Perform E.coli testing on wastewater
· Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements :
· Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast paced setting
· Must be responsive to user needs and able to prioritize user requests
· Must be task oriented, self motivated and have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work as team member
· Must have a valid driver's license, with no significant vehicle/traffic violations.

Other Requirements :
· Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred but not required. Must have a High School diploma
· Two (2) plus years prior applicable experience preferred
· Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance is required.
